A Celebration of Life will be held for Elizabeth Tate Barnhart at 4 p.m. on Saturday, February 11, 2017, at Brucker-Kishler Funeral Home 985 N 21st Street, Newark. Pastor David Pennington will officiate. Family and friends may call from noon to 4 p.m. with the service immediately following.
Elizabeth was born on July 19, 1992, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The daughter of Nancy Reeder-Snodgrass and Daniel Todd Barnhart, Liz, as she was known to family and friends, was a 2010 Newark High School graduate and a 2015 Central Ohio Technical College Nursing Program and the winner of the Simpson-Wellington Clinical Excellence Award.
Her most recent accomplishment was being enrolled in the Bachelors of Nursing Program at Ohio University while working full time as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department at Licking Memorial Hospital. Her love of music and travel will always remain a wonderful memory to her family. Liz emulated life and light and love to all she came in contact with. Her loss is greatly felt by her family including: her mother, Nancy (John) Reeder-Snodgrass; father, Daniel (Shelli) Barnhart; brothers and sister, Benjamin and Abigail Barnhart and Nathan Snodgrass; step brothers, Jonathan and Kyle Hunt; aunts and uncles; Joanne (Eric) Fisher, Christine Reeder, Dirk (Maureen) Barnhart, Patsy Barnhart and their families; and her step-family.
She touched lives at Licking Memorial Hospital, Newark High School and Lakewood High School and will be missed by many. The family would like to express their gratitude for the outpouring of support during this tragedy. If you feel lead to assist the family, memorial contributions may be made to Brucker-Kishler Funeral Home in lieu of flowers.
