Edna Mae Collins, age 76, of Thornville, passed away Saturday, October 24,2009. at Autumn at the Lake Care Center.
She was born in Franklin Furnace, Ohio, on February 8, 1933, to the late Earl and Madeline (VanHorn) Litz.
Edna was a member of Carnation OCCL, and worked at the Thornville Pharmacy for many years.
She enjoyed gardening, sewing, crafts, flowers and cooking. Loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Edna is survived by her husband, Jack; children, Jackie (Jeff) Fields, Rick (Debbie) Heaberlin; daughters-in-law, Jodi (Bill) Maynard, Minnie (Paul) Hester; brother-in-law, Elmer Brafford. Surviving brothers, Robert (Judy) Litz, Ronald (Betty) Litz; seven grandchildren; and six greatgrandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Steven Edward Heaberlin; sisters, Arletta Litz, Anna Brafford; brothers, Harold Litz, Mark ‘Foose” Litz,; brother-in-law, Orville M. (Beatrice) Lowry.
Funeral service was October 28, 2009, with the Reverend Ronald Litz officiating. Burial followed at Lutheran Reformed Cemetery.
