Edith F. Frasure, age 78, of Baltimore died Thursday February 18, 2010, at the Fairfield Medical Center.
She was a member of the Baltimore United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir and played the piano and she attended the Bible Baptist Church, Lancaster. She was a member of the Baltimore Senior Citizens and fought Myelofibrosis since 1987.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Lester R. Frasure; daughters and son-in-law, Debbie and Steve Bader, Carroll and Ruth West, Bremen; son and daughter-in-law, Lester F. and Jo Ann Frasure Jr., Sumter, N.C.; six grandchildren, Jeff (Julia) Bader, Holly Bader, Andrea West, John (Patty) West, Lester Ray Frasure III, and Andrea Christie Frasure; five great grandchildren; sisters, Lovetta Larabee, Ohio and Leona Rhymer, Michigan; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles J. and Ruth L. Eiselstein; grandson, Jay West Jr.; sister, Esther Eiselstein; and niece, Barb Rhymer.
Funeral service was February 21, 2010, at the Baltimore United Methodist Church with Rev. Branson Hawkes and Pastor Roy Maple officiating. Burial was in West Rushville Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the Baltimore United Methodist Church or the Bible Baptist Church in Edith’s memory.
