Deborah J. Ford




Deborah J. Ford, age 60, of Hebron, passed away on February 21, 2016, at Licking Memorial Hospital with her family by her side.

She was born May 19, 1955, in Chillicothe, to Robert and Rosemary (Bresnahan) Lawhorn.

Deborah was a 1973 graduate of Licking Valley High School. After high school, she went on to receive her Associate’s Degree from Central Ohio Technical College in Accounting. Throughout her career she worked for several influential companies including Cardinal Health and The Longaberger Company.

Deborah was a “very passionate” sports enthusiast and loved to watch her children and grandchildren play sports. She was also a strong supporter of their respective athletic communities. Deborah enjoyed collecting antiques, watching The Ohio State Buckeyes and rooting for her favorite NASCAR driver, Kasey Kahne.

She is survived by her son, Kevin (Natasha) Ford of Buckeye Lake; three grandsons, Reece Ford, Trace Ford and Connor Ford; son, Brian Lawhorn and grandsons, Levi Lawhorn and Kane Jacobs; two brothers, Mark (Connie) Lawhorn and Steve Lawhorn; sisters, Janet Harble and Karen Cunningham; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Michael Harble.

The Heath Chapel of Henderson Van Atta-Stickle Funeral & Cremation Service, 1249 Hebron Road, Heath, is assisting the family with arrangements.

A memorial celebration of life will take place at a later date.
