David H. Shaw





David H. Shaw, age 91, of Baltimore, former resident of Columbus, for over 50 years, passed away, Sunday, March 8, 2009, at The Pickering House. He was a retired tool and die maker for Western Electric and later AT&T with 22 years of service. He was a World War II US Army Air Corps veteran holding the rank of sergeant. He is survived by his daughter, Linda (John) Addison of Baltimore; grandchildren, Vicky (David) Schulte, Roger D. Shaw, Jr., Ron Shaw, and Brad (Dee) Shaw; 10 great grandchildren, Nathan (Holly) Brown, Nicholas (Christie) Brown, Aaron Brown, Brandon Brown, Lauren Shaw, Dillon Shaw, William Shaw, Kasey Child, Shane Child, and Myriah Child; and cousins, Judy Owen, Charlene Hartsfield, and Diane Rhoads. He was preceded in death by his wife, D. Lorraine Shaw; son, Roger D. Shaw; and grandson, Jeff Child.

Funeral service will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in the Johnson Smith Funeral Home Capel, 207 S. Main St., Baltimore, with Pastor Michael Herbert of Walnut Creek Baptist Church officiating. Burial to follow in Arlington Field of Honor in Canal Winchester. Memorial gifts may be given to The Pickering House, 282 Sells Rd., Lancaster, Ohio 43130.
