I’m sure most Buckeye Lake area residents have a new appreciation for every recent rainy day. It’s exciting to see the lake filling up and a few more boats in the water!
Residents within the Village of Buckeye Lake are also navigating higher water levels. However, it’s not with our boats, but our cars!
The good news is that we have an opportunity to solve some of these storm sewer issues with grant money if the application requirements and deadlines are met. Residents need to be involved in this process by attending the Monday, April 10 council meeting at 7 p.m. Let your elected officials know where you believe the priorities should be regarding inadequate storm sewer drainage and failing streets.
I invite you to come and be the squeaky wheel so together we can drain our streets but not the lake!
