NEWARK – Central Ohio Technical College is hosting an Engineering Technology Day from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m on Saturday, June 27,. in LeFevre Hall at the Newark campus. The event is free and open to the public.
Participants can explore the newly redesigned Engineering Technology degrees and certificates, while taking part in handson exploration of the high-tech engineering labs and classrooms.
The program at prepares graduates for an array of STEMrelated careers. Students can earn Associate of Applied Science degrees in Engineering Technology, Electrical Trades Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Engineering Technology, and Heavy Equipment Operation Technology. Students may choose from a diverse range of engineering technology majors, including architectural, civil, electrical, and mechanical engineering technology. One year engineering technology certificates are available in architectural computer aided drafting, civil computer aided drafting or heavy equipment operator.
