Charles R. “Bob” Lamb




Charles R. “Bob” Lamb, 71, of Baltimore passed away March 18, 2016, at the Pickering House. He was born on October 21, 1944, in Lancaster to the late Charles W. “Bill” and Georgia B. (Shumaker) Lamb. Bob served in the U.S. Navy. He owned the Lamb Insurance Agency, Baltimore. Bob was a member of the Baltimore Volunteer Fire Department and was very proud of being a member of the first group of volunteer paramedics for Baltimore.

Bob is survived by his wife of 47 years, Barbara L. (Loar) Lamb; sons, Laurence W. Lamb and John A. (Jodie) Lamb; daughters, Dianne M. Lamb, and Christina M. (Mark) Huhn; six grandchildren; sister, Mary Jane Beck; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother-in-law, Frank Beck; and nephew, Tim Beck.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Friday March 25, 2016, at the Sheridan Funeral Home. Interment will be in Hampson Cemetery, Pleasantville. Visitation will be on Thursday March 24 from 5-8PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Basil Joint Fire District – Station 610, 410 W Washington St, Baltimore, OH 43105
