Carolyn S. (Lambert) Duncan

Carolyn S. (Lambert) Duncan, age 63 of 1st Street in Buckeye Lake, passed away peacefully January 19, 2017, in the care of Hospice of Central Ohio, after a long battle with bone cancer. She was surrounded by her loving family.

Carolyn was born May 6, 1953, in Westerville, to the late Grace A. Mays (Flagg) and William O. Lambert. She spent most of her career driving semi-trucks and working in health care. She was known for her ability to make anyone laugh. She always had a funny story to tell, and always had a smile on her face. She was friendly to all and loved her animals. Carolyn is survived by her son, Chief Shawn Martin USN(RET); daughters, Amy M. Lambert and Tamera Martin; 9 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; brothers, Michael Barnhart and Darrin Lake; sisters, Annetta Loughry, Belva Slater, Patrica Agler, and Ramona McDaniel; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Carolyn was preceded by brothers, James L. Barnhart, Ronald L. Barnhart, William O. Lambert Jr. and Robert E. Lambert. A special mention to close family friends, Bryan Rose and Margaret & Margarita Small, thank you for all your support throughout the years, and your loving shoulder in the end.
