Carl Hochradel



Carl Hochradel, 87, of Baltimore, passed away on Friday, March 26, 2010.

Carl worked 20 years for the Western Electric Company. He was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ in Baltimore. He was also a member of the Baltimore Masonic Lodge #475, Scottish Rite Valley of Columbus, Baltimore VFW, Buckeye Lake Eagles, and the Western Electric Pioneers. He was also the former co-owner of the Rippling Stream Campground with his wife, Betty.

Carl is survived by his daughters, Carol S. Steele, Karen L. Billingsley, and Jill A. (William) Simpson; sons, Ronald C. (Donna) Hochradel and Bradley D. Hochradel; 12 grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; five step-great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; two step-great great grandchildren; brothers, Jim and Bill Hochradel; sisters, Shirley Hochradel, Violet Miller, and Mary Ann Harrison; special friend, Amy Cucio; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty G. Hochradel; parents, Carl and Elva Hochradel; brothers, Bob and Don Hochradel; and sister, Janice Huff.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday at the Basil Memorial Cemetery in Baltimore with Reverend Jill Dunlap officiating. Caring Cremation has taken place with the Johnson-Smith Funeral Home, Baltimore.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Trinity United Church of Christ, 105 N. High St, Baltimore, OH 43105.
