Just a note to thank everyone who supported the Bog-tober Fest presented by the Greater Buckeye Lake Historical Society last Saturday evening.
The big tent was full of people enjoying good food from The Port Smokehouse and Buckeye Lake Yacht Club, some liquid refreshments and great music from the Paul Clark Bank.
This was a successful fund raiser for the Museum as we wait for the completion of the dam and the return of the “Queen of the Lake” tours and the eventual arrival of our new sternwheeler.
Many thanks to all the many volunteers who spent hours making this event happen. A special thanks to Buckeye Lake Mayor Clay Carroll for his expertise in helping supply the electric service for the event. It was a little disappointing not to see a member of village council at this village event.
Thanks to Our Lady of Mount Carmel for the use of the property and chairs and to the Buckeye Lake Brewery for the great beer. Again our thanks to all and look forward to days on the lake.
