November begins the season of giving. Giving thanks for the blessings we have received and giving other who need blessings something to be thankful for.
Bike Buckeye Lake works with schools, churches, and Job & Family Services in our tri-county area to provide local, underprivileged children a bicycle for Christmas during the organization’s annual Christmas Bike Drive going on now. Many of our local children would not own a bicycle if not for the generosity of our community.
Giving the blessing of a bicycle for Christmas to a local child in need is easy. $100 provides a child a bicycle, and $20 provides a child a bicycle helmet. Donations can be made online at bikebuckeyelake.org or checks are accepted payable to Bike Buckeye Lake, PO Box 523, Buckeye lake, OH 43008 with Child Bike Donation in the memo.
About Bike Buckeye Lake: Bike Buckeye Lake is a volunteer-ran 501(c)3 non-profit organization that was established in 2015 for the purpose of developing a multi-purpose trail system that circumvents Buckeye Lake , and runs through the surrounding trials-county area of Fairfield County, Licking County, and Perry County. Each year, Bike Buckeye Lake holds a bike drive to provide underprivileged children in the tri-county area with a bicycle for Christmas so they can enjoy the trails being developed.
