Bernard Samuel Loudermilk




Bernard Samuel Loudermilk, 83, of Hebron, passed away November 25, 2014. He was born October 19, 1931, in Clintonville, West Virginia. After 44 years, he retired from North American Rockwell in Newark. He had bird feeders, was an avid gardener and especially enjoyed growing tomatoes and flowers. He rescued a stray kitten called Tom that followed him everywhere. He regularly attended church and enjoyed studying the Old Testament.

He was preceded in death by his father, Everett Emory Loudermilk and mother Luella Cloe (Hayslette) Loudermilk; two brothers, Clayton and James Loudermilk; and a sister-in-law, Rosie (Gregg) Loudermilk.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Betty (Livesay) Loudermilk; son, Clayton (Vivian) Loudermilk of Flemington, WV; two daughters, Linda Loudermilk of Columbus, and Carol (Greg) Grubaugh of Fredericktown, OH; one granddaughter, Kimberly (Vincent) Baldwin; one great-grandson, Jacob Baldwin; step-grandson, Eric Evans and his children, Caleb, Alexzandria and Kyndal; step-granddaughters, Miranda and her son Carter; and Miriah Grubaugh; and brother, Clifton Loudermilk; and sister-inlaws. Marie Loudermilk, Donna Livesay, and Doris Livesay.

A funeral service was held November 29, 2014, at the Brucker- Kishler Funeral Home in Newark.
