Baltimore seeks input on possible grant projects

BALTIMORE – The Village of Baltimore is preparing an application for a Neighborhood Revitalization Program Grant.

Part of the process for the $270,000 grant are meetings to solicit suggestions from residents on possible grant projects. What would you like to see done? New sidewalks? Street repairs?

Two meetings have been scheduled:

• Tuesday, February 17 at 6:30 p.m. in Council Chambers at the Municipal Building at 103 W. Market St.; and

• Tuesday, March 17 at 6:30 p.m. in Council Chambers at the Municipal Building at 103 W. Market St.

Representatives from Fairfield County Regional Planning will facilitate both meetings. Mayor Bob Kalish emphasized to The Beacon that NO projects have been selected. Public input will guide project selection.
