I would like to thank those who came before me. A rich tradition of successful people has graduated from Walnut Township Schools including doctors, lawyers, armed service members, business managers, entrepreneurs and educators. These individuals graduated as a name not a number like larger school districts.
Our school, our town, our community is like Cheers because everyone knows your name. If I am going to pay taxes, I want those taxes to support my school. I am doing this because that was what the great citizens of the past did for me and my generation.
No one talks about the great experience they got in a large school district. In Walnut Township Schools, you are being taught by teachers and administrators that care about you as a person not a number. We don’t have a big school or big town or big community but that’s why we live here. We live in a great place called America, Ohio and Walnut Township, the home of the Lakers and Land of Sweet Corn.
