9/11 conspiracy remark clarified

I’m sorry that L.S. Baker misunderstood my reference to the 9/11 conspiracy theory (4/9/11 Letter to the Editor). If he or she misunderstood, others probably did also, so let me explain. To be sure, 9/11 is no theory; it is fact as we have all seen on TV. However, the conspiracy theory would have you believe that 9/11 was the result of collusion between Israel and the U.S. to facilitate the attacks, and that the Twin Towers did not collapse because of the planes crashing into them but because of demolitions planted inside the buildings and detonated by none other than President Bush.

Now, how crazy can that be!!! But that’s the sort of garbage that comes out of Glenn Beck’s mouth almost every time he opens it… along with other looney toons like the birther theory, commies at NBC (referred to in Baker’s letter), Obama as a Muslim and hater of white folks, etc., etc., etc.

Is it any wonder, then, that Beck has now been fired from – or quit – Fox News. Fox President Roger Alies says whichever scenario you choose to believe is no matter to him – Beck is outta there! I’m not saying it’s true, but I can’t refute media reports that say over 400 advertisers have refused to sponsor Beck’s 5 o’clock comedy show, and that Fox has lost almost 1 million viewers because of Beck.

Sorry for the confusion. Hope this clears things up.
