VFW 1388 hosts WWII vets



BUCKEYE LAKE – VFW Post 1388 regularly invites WWII veterans from the Woodlands Assisted Living Center in Columbus for lunch. Last month’s lunch included live Big Band music from The Continental Sexton. Buckeye Lake Mayor Frank Foster declared August 18 as Celebrate Central Ohio Veterans Day. Foster joined VFW members in thanking the elderly veterans for their service.
