Earl Hall of Baltimore recently won the in-store drawing for the Pepsi Supermarket Sweep at Baltimore Market IGA. Hall had 90 seconds to collect as much groceries as he could and get to the checkout. He filled a cart with $597.37 of meat. For the third year in a row, store owner Clarence Cardwell matched the winner’s haul. Vice President of Operations Teresa Travers presented a check for $597.37 to the Baltimore-Thurston Area Food Pantry. Above, left to right, are Hall, Traverse and food pantry director Ruth Crutcher.
