Baltimore /Thurston Area Food Pantry Director Ruth Cruther-Beckwith and Village Pharmacy co-owner Thomas Gasser hope this cart is filled many times over next week. The Pantry’s Community Food Drive is Nov. 14-19. Donations may be dropped off at the Village Pharmacy, 114 N. Main St., from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday. Donations of non-perishable food items are needed as well as toilet tissue, liquid dish soap, shampoo, soap, laundry detergent and person hygiene items. Last year 110 large Christmas food baskets were distributed to needy residents. A total of 83 families were adopted for Christmas gifts.
