HEBRON- The Marietta Leg of the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics arrived at the Hebron Kroger Store June 24 afternoon, where participating officers met local Special Olympics athletes. Law enforcement and corrections officers ran the Special Olympics Flame of Hope from Marietta to Columbus to raise awareness for individuals with intellectual disabilities. Hebron was the officers’ next to final stop (their final stop was Reynoldsburg) before running the final leg to Columbus for the opening ceremonies of the Special Olympics Summer Games.
