Judy McGyone of Baltimore recently took a 90-second shopping spree at Baltimore Market IGA. She was selected via an in-store drawing for the Crush Supermarket Sweepstakes cosponsored by G&J Pepsi-Cola Bottlers, Inc. of Columbus. McGyone collected $148.55 of groceries and cleaning supplies. “Not bad for an old grandma,” she said. G&J added four 12-packs of Pepsi products to her cart for a total of $167.64. Bill White, G&J’s Customer Marketing Manager, holds her cash register receipt after Baltimore Market IGA owner Clarence Cardwell congratulated McGyone for her win. Shopping sprees were held at 18 independent grocery stores in central Ohio. Beacon photo by Charles Prince.
