A Stillion Brother technician releases water from a fire hydrant on Lake Road Wednesday. Buckeye Lake Water Tech Toby Miller said Wednesday was the first day that water officially flowed into Buckeye Lake Village, although some water has been stored in the pump station since Tuesday. The village’s water tower is not yet ready to store water. Miller said the water lines are full from the pump station to the Buckeye Lake State Park and Stillion Brothers will begin pressure testing water lines on the village’s west side. He said the public water system is still on schedule to be serving customers by April 1. Beacon photo by Scott Rawdon.
