Great weather lead to an early sell-out of last Sunday’s Tour of Homes. Buckeye Lake Area Civic Association volunteers started turning away visitors at 1:45 p.m., more than an hour before the scheduled last boat out at 3 p.m. A few visitors complained about hour plus waits at the Buckeye Lake Winery as they boarded nearly 40 pontoon boats to start the tour. They were all smiles as they returned from the unique home tour. A total of 825 visitors enjoyed Buckeye Lake hospitality. A total of 160 volunteers make the annual fundraiser possible. Platinum sponsors were: Buckeye Lake Winery, Buckeye Lake Region Chamber of Commerce, Coconis Furniture and Fisher’s Marina. Beacon photos by Charles Prince.
