Still time to enroll in fall courses at OSU-Newark
NEWARK - Area residents interested in continuing their education can still apply in person and enroll for fall semester starting Aug. 27 at OSU-Newark. Thanks to open admission at the regional campuses, it’s easier for Ohio adults to go back to college.
“Many people think the application deadline for Autumn semester freshmen has passed because it has for the Columbus campus,” stated Ann Donahue, Director of Enrollment. “Ohio resident freshmen with a high school diploma (from a chartered Ohio high school) or a G.E.D. can be admitted to Ohio State Newark,”
She added, “Transfer students also still have time to be admitted as long as they have a cumulative grade point average of at least a 2.0 from all previous colleges attended.”
Part-time enrollment is another option for students working full-time. They can qualify for federal financial aid by taking just six credit hours.
