Bubb endores Black for county commissioner

Editor: I am writing to offer my endorsement for Rick Black in the May 6th Republican Primary Race for Licking County Commissioner. Rick’s lifetime of service and community involvement, here in Licking County, makes him an excellent choice to serve the people of this diverse and growing county.

Rick Black is a graduate of the Ohio State College of Agriculture and is a fifth generation farm owner/operator. He understands conservation and what agri-business means to Licking County. A family man, Rick Black has served for 37-years as organist and music director of Second Presbyterian Church. He is respected as a man of strong Christian faith.

Rick has and continues to serve his community. He was a Lakewood School Board member from 1998 to 2005, and was elected as a Union Township Trustee in 2010 and is currently serving.

Rick puts people and community first in his public decision making! He also currently serves as an alternate member of the Licking County Planning Commission and Transit Board.

Finally, Rick Black understands community and economic development. I have seen him working with people to find solutions to difficult problems. He would be a Commissioner who listens and would take a conservative approach to governing.

In today’s world we need more reasonable and thoughtful people like Rick Black running for public office. He has my vote and my full support!

Tim Bubb
Licking County Commissioner
