Writer gives mayor geography lesson

Editor:

I want to thank Mayor Bob Kalish for the his hard work in getting the streets repaired. The streets were Basil, High and Liberty streets where the mayor said therei a lot of commerce and trade. I drove those streets and I didn’t see any new buildings that haven”t been there in the past 40 years.

The mayor said the new Farm Credit office would bring a 100+ jobs to Baltimore. There are eight people working there and they work in Walnut Township. Green Gourmet was said to bring 80 jobs. The two national retailers supposed to be coming to the Ohio 256 and Ohio 37 intersection won’t be in Baltimore. That’s Walnut Township. Bobby, just because you have your picture taken in Walnut Township it will not change the fact that it’s not Baltimore.

One more thing, I want to thank the mayor for returningmy phone call about the pot holes on my street and the damage they did to my truck.
