Thanks to Taste of Buckeye Lake supporters

Editor:

I want to personally thank all the brave souls who ventured out in the snow storm last Saturday to attend the Taste of Buckeye Lake. Your support of the Buckeye Lake Library and our local businesses is greatly appreciated. It just shows that the folks around Buckeye Lake love a good party! I had a blast and I hope those of you who attended did too.

There are countless volunteers who helped prepare for this event and I thank you. Without your support we would not have been able to have such a successful fundraiser, especially in a snowstorm.

And a very big thank you to the vendors who committed to the Taste.

Pizza Cottage, John Doneff’s Island House, North Pole Frozen Custard and Water Ice, the Port Smoke House, Copper Penny, Baja Sopaipilla, the Buckeye Lake Yacht Club, Buckeye Lake Brewery and the Buckeye Lake Winery.....thank you so much for all your support!

And lastly another thanks to the Jack Gorham Band for an incredible night of music and to Floral Expressions whose floral centerpieces made the library look beautiful.

The Friends of Buckeye Lake Library appreciate and depend on your financial support. We are responsible for the library’s building expenses including utilities, maintenance and insurance. Thanks to your generous donations as members of the Friends and your support of our fundraisers – 5K Walk/Run, the Taste and the Pit Beef Barn at the Sweet Corn Festival we can keep our wonderful library open. And again we thank you for that!
