Dorothy Jean (Estep) Willis

A funeral service, celebrating the life of Dorothy Jean (Estep) Willis, 83, of Buckeye Lake, was held December 27, 2013, in the Hebron Chapel of The Hoskinson- Schoedinger Funeral & Cremation Service, with Pastor Jacob Faulk officiating. Burial followed in Millersport Cemetery.

Dorothy died December 22, 2013, at her home following an extended illness. She was born in Cabin Creek WV, on August 20, 1930, the daughter of the late Gilbert E. and Edna M. (Combs) Estep.

A lifelong homemaker, Dorothy loved quilting, crocheting, reading and watching the Cooking Channel.

She is survived by her loving family: children, Roger (Peggy) Willis, Debbie (Wayman) Angle, Nancy (Eddie) Evans, Michael Willis and Terri (Tony) Noblick; 10 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and her two sisters, Betty Tackett and Kay McCubbin.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Irwin Willis, who passed away on November 11, 2009; her siblings, Helen Heinz, Lou Shultz, Richard Estep and Bill Estep; sons, Gary Wayne and Ronald Douglas Willis; granddaughter, Amy Elaine Willis; and her longtime friend, Dorothy Fankhauser.
