More support for Horn
I am writing to ask your readers to support my dad, Terry Horn, for re-election. My wife, three girls, and I recently moved back to Walnut Township and are proud of the work that he has already completed in his first term as trustee.
Dad pursued grant funds to demolish five condemned houses, and he recently added three more to the list that will be completed in early 2014. He also has a plan to address junk vehicles within the township when re-elected.
As an engineering designer, he has extensive knowledge of what goes into the township construction projects, but more than that, he has a real business sense for what it takes to run the township. He prepares specifications and contracts for the township construction projects and he has saved the township tens of thousands of dollars in small and large cost cutting measures. He understands the township balance sheet and makes sure every dollar is spent in the most efficient and responsible way possible.
Dad’s colleague Bill Yates (fellow Trustee) as well as Dave Levacy (Fairfield County Commissioner) both endorse him for re-election for his common sense approach to township business. This speaks volumes to his work ethic and ability to work as a member of a team!
