Denise Kay Haught, 35, of Thornville, was tragically taken away from her family to her eternal home on October 9, 2013.
She was born on April 16, 1978, in Columbus, the daughter of Larry and Donna (Stack) Haught, who survive.

She is survived by her parents, Larry and Donna; children, Cyrus, Caden, Seanna, Elijah and Evelyn (“Evvie”); her sister, Adrianne (Michael) Stephens; two brothers, Ryan (Virginia) Haught and Clint Haught; former husband and friend, Matthew Cook; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives.
A funeral service, celebrating Denise’s life, was held October 15, 2013, in the chapel of the Thornville home of Hoskinson- Schoedinger Funeral and Cremation Service, with Bishop T.L. Kirk officiating. Burial followed in Millersport Cemetery.
During this time of sorrow, Denise’s family gives thanks to extended family, church family, and friends who have supported them with prayers and thoughts.
The family is finding refuge and comfort from the Spirit of the Lord and in the promises of the scriptures of John 16:22, “So also you have sorrow now, but I will see you again, and your hearts will rejoice, and no one will take your joy from you.”
