A few police reports
Compiled from selected police activity reports.
• Sept. 2: Police were dispatched to watch for a vehilce seen driving recklessly on East Main St. Police were then told that the vehicle had stopped along the road. Police found the vehicle and a very intoxicated driver. He failed a field sobriety test and was charged with physical control.
• Sept. 2: A few minutes later police drove by the vehicle in the previous report and saw that the headlights were now on, the engine was running and the same intoxicated man was behind the wheel. He was again charged with physical control and this time was taken to jail.
• Sept. 3: A Hebron Road man complained about someone tampering with his mail. His medications were missing but a neighbor found them intact next to her trash can. Several neighbors also reported problems with missing mail.
• Sept. 5: Police were called to a Greeenbriar Lane home on a report of young juveniles outside without supervision. Police found their mother asleep and will refer the incident to Childrens’ Services.
