Sherman was a 1948 graduate of Hebron High School and Korean War Veteran. He resided in Hebron/Buckeye Lake most of his life and was a 60+ member of Hebron Lions Club. He retired from Matesich Distributing Co. years ago and operated County Fair Foods, currently Clay’s Cafe, in Hebron. For over 45 years he operated Sherm & Mel’s French Fries at the Fairfield County Fair. It seems only fitting he wanted to pass way during fair week in Lancaster.
