J. Jean “Cox” Liming

J. Jean “Cox” Liming, age 83 of Thornville, died September 15, 2013, at the Fairfield Medical Center. She was born in Columbus to Henry and Blanche M. Hanshue Wears on April 24, 1930. She was an avid quilter involved with the Quilt Club. She was one of the founders of the Perry County Home Extension and an active community member in 4-H, Girl Scouts, and Boy Scouts of America, who will be greatly missed by all the lives she touched.

She is survived by her husband, S. Floyd Liming, of Thornville; children, David, Ralph, James, and John Cox, Anna Marie Contizano, Judy Clark, and Brenda Costilo; ten stepchildren; 47 grandchildren; and 47 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Charles Wears; and sister, Edna Mae Wells.

Funeral service is at 6 p.m. on September 19, 2013, at the Johnson-Smith Funeral Home, Baltimore. Family and friends may call from 4 until 6 p.m. at the funeral home on Thursday. Caring Cremation(r) will follow the service. Online condolences can be made at www.funeralhome.com
