Jacob Thomas Sprague

A funeral service, celebrating the life of Jacob Thomas Sprague, 25, of Newark, will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 14, 2013, in the chapel of the Kirkersville home of The Hoskinson Funeral & Cremation Service with Pastor Curt Martin as celebrant.

Jacob died unexpectedly on September 8, 2013 in Newark. He was born May 17, 1988, the son of Clifford and Jamie (Whittington) Sprague. He was a graduate of Newark High School and CTech’s Criminal Justice program, Class of 2007. He was employed with Midwest Health Services as a home health aide for disabled adults.

Jacob loved spending time with his son, playing video games and having a good time.

He is survived by his loving family: mother, Jamie Sprague (Phil “Dandy” Lewis) of Harbor Hills; father, Clifford (Alisa) Sprague of North Canton; his girlfriend, Lauren Heath; son, Baelin Sprague; sisters, Anna and Kathryn Sprague; grandmothers, Jean Whittington and Janet Clark; step-brother, Michael and stepsister, Courtney Cotyk; nephew, Jackson Sprague; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Thomas Whittington and Donald Sprague.

Friends may call at the funeral home, 285 East Main St. in Kirkersville, from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, September 13, 2013 and on Saturday from 10-11 a.m. prior to the funeral service.

Memorials may be in the form of flowers or contributions to Fiberlgas Federal Credit Union to be used for Baelin Sprague. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
