Pearl F. Daubenmire

Pearl F. Daubenmire, 89, of Hebron, passed away August 30, 2013, at Autumn Care Center, Newark. She was born on February 14, 1924, in Perry County to the late Frank and Mary (Hoover) Fisher. Pearl was a strong Christian believer who attended various local churches. She was a member of the Hebron American Legion Auxiliary, the Mutual Civic Improvement Club, and the Junior Women’s Club. Later in her life, she worked as a LPN but most importantly, was a dedicated wife and mother who poured her life into her family.

She is survived by her children, Jane (Karl) Gartner of Granville, Joseph (Sandy) Daubenmire of Watkinsville, GA., Daniel (Susan) Daubenmire of Thornville, David (Michele) Daubenmire, of Thornville, and William (Brenda) Daubenmire of Hebron; 19 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and her sister, Donna Braig of Buckeye Lake.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Daubenmire in 2005; four sisters, Thelma Holbrook, Carrie Rarick, Nelle Schmid, and Maribel Neel; and two brother, Fred Fisher and Perry Fisher.

A funeral service, celebrating Pearl’s life, was held September 4, 2013, in the chapel of the Kirkersville home of Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service, with David Daubenmire officiating. Burial will follow in Stuckey Cemetery in Sugar Grove.
