Electronics to be recycled in Baltimore

BALTIMORE – Christ United Methodist Church is coordinating an electronic recycling project in the family life center July 21 through July 28. This opportunity is available for anyone with old, outdated, or broken electronic or computer equipment around their home or business. and aren’t sure what to do with them.

These electronic items will be collected:

Computers - desktops and laptops, servers, monitors, keyboards, mice, speakers, printers, fax machines, copiers - all sizes, scanners, UPS and battery backup systems, stereos, all stereo equipment, cameras, camcorders, cell and other phones, all phone equipment, all Palm equipment, video game systems, video games, DVD players, CD and DVD media and floppy disks. Only LCD TVs will be accepted.

Certificates will be provided attesting that any data remaining on any digital media will be destroyed.

Items to be recycled can be left in the family life center Sunday mornings from 8:30 to 11:00.; Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.; Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 6:00 to 8:00; and Saturday 9 a.m. to 12 noon.
