Larry A. Keller, Sr.
A memorial service with Military Funeral Honors provided by the Licking County Veterans Alliance for Larry A. Keller, Sr., was held June 28, 2013, at the Brucker & Kishler Funeral Home.
Mr. Keller, 64, of Newark, passed away June 25, 2013, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born March 31, 1949, in Hebron, a son of the late Chester and Olveta (Bugh) Keller. Mr. Keller served his country in the US Army, in Vietnam, where he received two Purple Heart medals. For 43 years, he worked at PCA in Newark. He enjoyed fishing, camping, traveling and was an avid carpenter, always crafting something out of wood or working on his home.
He is survived by his wife, Iva Harper-Keller; his children, Angie (David Petrey) Stiltner of Newark, Larry (Amy) Keller, Jr. of Newark, Paul Keller of Newark and Jessie (Terry) White of Groveport; his step-children, Tim (Mary) Harper of Newark, Randy (Shari) Harper of Strasburg, and Mistie (Jaime) Hull of Newark; brothers, Neal (Sally) Keller of Harbor Hills and Nelson (Mary) Keller of Hebron; his former wife, Beth Keller of Newark; 18 grandchildren; two great grandchildren, including his little man, Ivan Armes; and his beloved dog, Buster.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a stepson, Shane Vermillion; and a grandson, Bryan Harper.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Veterans Administration or Hospice of Central Ohio.
