Buckeye Lake

• June 8: A Cranberry Lane woman reported her car was vandalized.

• June 8: A West 7th Street man said a loan company “took him” for $1,500 to $2,000.

• June 8: A West 7th Street man said his girlfriend damaged a car he had for sale. She was cited for criminal damaging.

• June 9: A Union Avenue woman reported two suspicious people on her property. Subjects left the area prior to the officer’s arrival.

• June 9: A Highland Avenue man came to station and asked how to deal with a woman who was calling his phone. The person called the phone while the man was at the station and an officer advised her to stop calling. Police said the caller sounded intoxicated and belligerent. Later, the woman called the police department back and continued ranting.

• June 9: A driver was cited for traveling 49 in a 35 miles per hour zone.

• June 9: A Mill Street woman said her daughter was having problems with her ex-husband over issues with their kids. Parties were advised to stay away from each other and use a neutral location to swap kids.

• June 9: A driver was cited for traveling 50 in a 35 miles per hour zone.

• June 9: Police stopped a driver after the vehicle went off the side of the road. The driver was highly intoxicated, blew a .204 BAC. and was charged with OVI.

• June 9: A driver was cited for traveling 47 in a 35 miles per hour zone and driving under suspension.

• June 9: A Thornville resident reported his bicycle stolen from a Buckeye Lake property.

• June 11: A Renner Street woman reported her son’s bicycle stolen.

• June 11: A West 5th Street resident said a girl called her daughter names. Officer spoke with both girls, who blamed each other. Both were advised charges would be filed if their behavior continued.

• June 11: A West 1st Street woman said her dog, worth $800, was stolen.

• June 11: A Millersport woman said her cell phone was stolen while she was in Buckeye Lake Village.

• June 12: A Hebron Road woman said her ex-boyfriend smacked her in the mouth following an argument. She didn’t want to press charges but wanted the incident on record.

• June 12: A Central Avenue woman reported a verbal altercation between her, her boyfriend, and their three children, which resulted in the woman and boyfriend shoving each other and the boyfriend creating a public disturbance. An officer found no evidence of a primary aggressor and separated them. She was advised to obtain a restraining order and he was charged with disorderly conduct.

• June 13: A Central Avenue woman reported she and her husband argued over “him taking all her money and leaving.” She was advised to obtain a restraining order against him.

• June 14: A Walnut Road man said he received a threat on his Facebook page.

• June 14: Police stopped a vehicle for multiple violations and found the driver was intoxicated. The driver was charged with OVI.
