Jenae’ Madison McNichols
A service celebrating the life of Jenae’ Madison McNichols, age 16, of Hebron, was held June 4, 2013, at Lakewood High School with Rev. Chris Whitehead officiating. Burial followed in Fairmount Cemetery.
Jenae’ passed away Friday, May 31, 2013 at The Ohio State University Medical Center following complications of an auto accident. She was born March 26, 1997, in Columbus, to Thomas J. and Lisa A. (Dispennette) Mc- Nichols.
Jenae’ was currently a sophomore at Lakewood High School and was active in Drama, Band/ Drumline, Student Council, Lunch Buddies, National Honor Society and Choir. She gave up her study hall to be an office worker. She was also a Dance Assistant with Garrett Dance Arts Studio as well as a competition dancer. She won many awards with dance, most recently a scholarship to a Jazz Intensive in New Orleans. Jenae’ was an active Jr. Member of Ohio Dance Masters. Jenae’ excelled at school. As a junior this coming school year, she had been selected as the varsity captain for the cheerleading squad and had been accepted as a Post Secondary Option Student. Jenae’ was also a member of Hebron Christian Church, where she was active in the youth group, serving as secretary.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by four sisters, Jennifer, Julie (James) Davenport, Jessica and Jana; two brothers, Josh and Jayden; paternal grandparents, Thomas J. and Marilyn A. (Roller) McNichols; maternal grandmother, Betty J. (Woolard) Dispennette; a nephew, Luke; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; and many close friends, as well as her admired heroes Joan Garrett Wine and Michele Rexroad.
She was preceded in death by two infant brothers, Thomas Joseph and James Andrew; and maternal grandfather, Franklin J. Dispennette.
The Heath Chapel of Henderson Van Atta-Stickle Funeral & Cremation Service, 1249 Hebron Road, Heath, assisted the family with arrangements.
