Carmen Marie (Lester- Leibrand) Kohler
Carmen Marie (Lester-Leibrand) Kohler, 51 of Baltimore, passed away at her residence surrounded by her loving family on May 27, 2013.
She was born July 15, 1961, to the late Ray and Betty (Foor) Lester in Columbus. She graduated from the University of Maryland with an Associate degree in German Studies and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science. She worked for the U.S. Department of State in Washington, D.C.
She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Dieter Kohler; step-sons, Michael, Mathew and Alex Kohler; siblings, India Pilon, David Lester, Sherry Hardin, Teresa Hardesty and Greta Nadin; and many nieces and nephews whom she loved greatly. She was preceded in death by brother, Gary Lester; and sister, Deborah Hanes.
Friends may call at Kauber- Sammons Funeral Home, Pataskala on Thursday, May 30, 2013, from 6-8pm. Funeral service is at 1 p.m. on Friday, May 31, 2013, at the funeral home with Pastor Tom Clark officiating. Burial to follow at Jersey Universalist Cemetery, Pataskala.
