Buckeye Lake

• March 7: Two Elliott Street residents each reported someone removed their vehicles’ CD player.

• March 7: A driver was cited for traveling 33 in a 20 miles per hour zone on Myers Avenue.

• March 7: A driver was cited for traveling 46 in a 35 miles per hour zone on Walnut Road.

• March 7: A driver was cited for traveling 52 in a 35 miles per hour zone on Walnut Road.

• March 7: A driver was cited for traveling 47 in a 35 miles per hour zone on Walnut Road.

• March 8: Officer observed a vehicle drive the wrong way on Mill Dam Road on the west side of the Hebron Road intersection, leading to the Duke service station. The officer stopped the vehicle and found its driver had a warrant for his arrest out of Zanesville.

• March 8: A driver was cited for traveling 48 in a 35 miles per hour zone on East Street.

• March 8: A driver was cited for traveling 47 in a 35 miles per hour zone on Walnut Road.

• March 8: A driver was cited for running a stop sign on Mill Dam Road.

• March 9: An officer was dispatched to a Walnut Road residence on a report of an active domestic dispute. A woman there said her live-in boyfriend took her phone away from her as she was calling 9-1-1 to report that he attacked her. The man denied assaulting her but police saw clear injuries on her. The woman decided she did not want to press charges, but police charged him with domestic violence and disrupting public services.

• March 9: Officer stopped a vehicle being operated erratically. The driver failed field sobriety tests and his BAC was .162. The man was under several driver’s license suspensions. He was charged with OVI and DUS.

• March 11: A driver was cited for traveling 47 in a 35 miles per hour zone on Walnut Road.

• March 12: A West 3rd Street man said the Liberty Tax Service informed him that he was a victim of identity theft and needed to contact authorities.

• March 12: A driver was cited for traveling 48 in a 35 miles per hour zone on Mill Dam Road.

• March 12: A driver was cited for traveling 47 in a 35 miles per hour zone on Mill Dam Road.

• March 12: A driver was cited for traveling 46 in a 35 miles per hour zone on Mill Dam Road.

Hebron

• Feb. 22: A South High Street resident told police that her great nephew who is on probation and under her guardianship had run away. Police found him and returned him to her home.

• Feb. 23: Police stopped a vehicle for excessive speed on Ohio 79 at Enterprise Drive. The driver was found to be under suspension and intoxicated. She was cited for all three violations, then arrested on a Franklin County warrant. Police turned her over to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office at the Cracker Barrel restaurant off Ohio 256.

• Feb. 23: A driver was cited for going 74 mph in a 50 mph zone on Ohio 79 at US 40. Police discovered that he was driving under suspension and without a license.

• Feb. 23: A McDonald’s employee told police that her ex-husband was there waiting for her to get off work. Police spoke with him and he told them he just wanted to talk with her. Police told him to leave the area.
