MILLERSPORT – There were some tense moments for Millersport treasurer and head basketball coach Kirk Grandy, biology teacher Steve Harris, and transportation supervisor Mike Washburn recently as they waited to learn which of them would have the “honors” of having his hair sheared off following a fundraiser for the Millersport prom. Ultimately, Harris was the “winner,” having raised the most money toward the prom of the three.

Also finding themselves in a sticky situation, high school physical education teacher Brock Swonguer and elementary physical education teacher C. J. Schmitz volunteered to be duct taped to the gymnasium walls. Students donated money toward the prom to place one piece of duct tape across the teachers individually in an attempt to tape them to the wall so they would be suspended above the floor. Neither of them ended up suspended over the floor, but the effort raised a lot of money for the prom and everyone had a good time.
