Buckeye Lake

• Feb. 12: An officer investigated an incident of possible physical abuse of a mentally challenged person.

• Feb. 15: A suspicious vehicle was reported at the Duke service station. An officer discovered the driver was driving under suspen- sion and had a warrant for his arrest out of Morrow County. The passenger had an open container of alcohol.

• Feb. 16: An officer was dispatched to an active domestic violence incident at a Maplewood Drive residence. There was an altercation involving a woman’s live-in boyfriend and her son.

• Feb. 17: A Walnut Road man was cited for driving without a license and his vehicle’s headlights were malfunctioning.

• Feb. 18: Four drivers were each cited for running a stop sign on Mill Dam Road.

• Feb. 18: A driver was cited for traveling 47 in a 35 miles per hour zone on Mill Dam Road.

• Feb. 19: A Renner Street man was charged with domestic violence and transported to jail after firing a BB gun at his girlfriend, grabbing her neck, and threatening her life, although he said he didn’t mean the threat.

Hebron

• Feb. 1: An employer asked police to check on the welfare of an employee who had just been let go and had been very upset when he left. No one was home when police went to his home.

• Feb. 2: Police checked on the welfare of a Westview Drive woman after a friend said she had made some strange comments on FaceBook and now wasn’t responding to calls or texts. The woman told police she was fine and would call her friend.

• Feb. 2: Police were called about a child bit by a dog on South High Street. The boy had startled the family dog and it bit him. Police took photos and a report for the health department.

• Feb. 3: A driver was cited for going 49 mph in a 35 mph zone on South High Street at Chestnut Lane.

• Feb. 4: A driver was cited for speed and failure to assure clear distance ahead after striking the rear of another vehicle on Main Street near Water Street.

• Feb. 4: A driver was cited for failure to control after his vehicle slid off the roadway and nto several signs on Ohio 79 at Enterprise Drive.

• Feb. 5: A driver was cited for a traffic light violation at Enterprise Drive and Ohio 79 after causing an crash with another vehicle there.

• Feb. 5: Police checked out a report of two males walking southbound in the middle of South High Street. The two said they were returning home from the Kroger store. Police told them to stay out of the roadway.

• Feb. 6: A Canal Road apartment resident reported the theft of his son’s bicycle.

• Feb. 7: A Broadway Street reported that someone had tampered with her backyard shed twice in the last week. This time police found pry marks around the lock. The complainant requested additional police patrols in the area.

• Feb. 8: Police responded to an alarm drop at 12:41 a.m. at Buckeye Outdoors. The building checked secure.

• Feb. 8: Police responded to an alarm drop at 2:32 a.m. at Buckeye Outdoors. Again the building checked secure.

• Feb. 9: Police assisted the Hebron squad with a patient that could be violent.

• Feb. 9: A driver was cited for a traffic light violation and driving under non-compliance suspension.

• Feb. 9: A Martinsburg resident came to the police station about a child custody dispute. Police told him it was a civil matter.
