June Faith Wright

June Faith Wright, of Pleasantville, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on December 10, 2012, at the age of 93 years. June was born June 15, 1919, in Lancaster, and graduated from Lancaster High School with the Class of 1938. June was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace (Wally) Wright, a 40 year employee of Anchor Hocking Glass. In addition to Wally, she was preceded in death by her parents, George and Nora (O’Dell) Widener; sisters, Viola White, Lillian Brown, baby Norma, Pauline Ricketts and Mary Engle; and brothers, Paul, Albert, James and Lloyd Widener.

She was a member of the Fairfield Baptist Church, Rebekkah Lodge, Pythian Sisters and Pleasantville Socialites. She was an avid and accomplished bowler.

Her loving family includes: sons, Dana (Sharon) Wright of Pleasantville, Larry Francis (Candy) Wright and Tom (Isabella) Wright; daughter, Connie (Max Van Fossen) Cote, New Lexington; granddaughters, Kathi (Joe) De- Placito of Savannah, GA,Kimberly Jackson, Canal Winchester and Shanna (Joel) Ronschke, Clintonville; grandsons, Daren Spicer, Larry Lee (Shelly) Wright, Drew (Michelle) Wright, David (Samantha) Spicer and Michael of Pataskala; great-grandson, Max Wallace Wright, Pleasantville, Zachary and Andrew, Aaron Spicer, Seth; great-granddaughters, Sarah and Hannah, Lyndsay, Latoya, and Megan Reynolds, Lancaster; great grandsons, Joshua and Kyle (Kati) Reynolds, Lancaster and and Cody and Brody of WV; and two great-great grandsons, Anthony & Wyatt.

June’s family will receive friends on Thursday, December 13, 2012 from 6-8:00 p.m. at The Fairfield Baptist Church in Thurston, where funeral services celebrating her life will be held on Friday, December 14, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Marvin Bechelheimer as celebrant. June will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband, Wallace at Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Lancaster.
