Mr. Swick’s work career was with Thorn Township and the carbon plant in Lancaster. As a volunteer, he was active with the Thornville Fire Department and with 4H as a leader. He was a forever farmer who loved the land and his tractors. His retirement was after many years of service as a machinist for Rockwell International.
