Storm hits Hebron Festival
The parade last Saturday from Evans Park to the festival grounds at Canal Park attracted a good crowd to enjoy food, music, crafts, vintage cars and activities for children.
Unfortunately, dark storm clouds that started gathering late afternoon caused some the crowd to leave early. The storm turned out to be more wind than anything else, but it was enough to knock down some of the tents. That prompted others to take down their tents before they were blown down and possibly damaged. The rain didn’t amount too much, but the damage had been done. Only a small crowd was present for the main music event at 7 p.m. featuring The BackBeats.
