Eileen Raymer, 83 of Lancaster, passed away August 27, 2012, at Fairfield Medical Center.
She was a member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, attended Drumms Lutheran Church, AARP, a good homemaker and loved flowers. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, friend, artist and musician.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Doug Raymer; sons, Randy Raymer and Tom (Cindy B.) Raymer of Thornville; daughter, Cindy A. (Dwight T.) Andrews of Thornville; grandchildren, Shannon (Leah) Raymer of Circleville, Aaron (DeeAna) Raymer and Rikki Baker of Thornville; eight great-grandchildren; brother, Thomas R.(Barb) Alspaugh of Jackson, Michigan; sister-in-law, Pat Carey of Jackson, Michigan; and several nieces and nephews. A thank you to special friends, Janet and Dan Brown of Lancaster.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Edna Alspaugh; and sister, Annabelle Morgan.
Funeral service will be held Friday, August 31, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. in the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home Chapel, 405 N. Columbus St., Lancaster,with Rev. David Bough officiating. Burial to follow in Drumms Cemetery. Friends may visit Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
