James E. French Sr
Gone too soon, James E. French Sr., 71, of Baltimore, passed away August 16, 2012, at the Ohio State Medical Center. He was born on July 21, 1941, to the late Ray Emerson and Dorothy Gail (Courtright) French. James served in the United States Navy. He was an engineer for South Central Power. James was a member of the V.F.W. and Moose Lodge in Baltimore.
He is survived by wife, Joyce French; daughters, Lisa (David) Ingersoll and Suzanne French; son, James E. French Jr.; step-daughters, Debra Russell and Rhonda (Larry) Locke; grandchildren, Zachary, Chelsea, Lillian, Dustin, Aaron, Camie, Jono, Amanda, Kristen, Amber and Angie; seven great grandchildren; sister, Pamela (William Sr.) Thurow; nephews, William Thurow Jr. and Matthew (Kathy) Thurow; and special friends, Sam LaFever and Doogie.
A funeral service was held on August 21, 2012, at the Sheridan Funeral Home, with Pastor Timothy Teague officiating. Burial tfollowed at Floral Hills Memory Gardens where a military graveside was conducted by the Lancaster Veterans Burial Detail.
