James “Old Buck” Buckholz

James “Old Buck” Buckholz, age 65 of Millersport, passed away July 30, 2012, at Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation Pickerington.

He was a Vietnam US Air Force veteran. He was a member of the Millersport Covenant Church, American Legion Post 637, Boy Scouts Chief Tarhe District and received the District Award of Merit for Service for the District.

He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Margaret C. Buckholz; daughter, Amy Jo Buckholz; son, James T. Buckholz; grandson, James Lawrence Michael Albert, all of Millersport; and special friends of the family, Pamela, Zachary and Shyanne.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Opal Buckholz; and step-mother, Ida Mae Buckholz.

Funeral service will be held Friday, August 3, 2012, at 10:30 a.m. in the Johnson-Smith Funeral Home, 207 S. Main St., Baltimore, with Pastor Steven Bush officiating. Burial to follow in Millersport Cemetery. Friends may visit Thursday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
