Ronnie L. “Pete” Luckeydoo

A funeral service for Ronnie L. “Pete” Luckeydoo, 70, of Hebron, was held April 17, 2012, at Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home, with Pastor Stephen Merold officiating. Burial followed in Newark Memorial Gardens.

Pete retired after 41 years from Buckeye Ready Mix. He passed away April 13, 2012, at his residence. He was born April 15, 1941, in Newark, to the late Franklin and Shirley ( Price) Luckeydoo.

Pete enjoyed listening to 1940’s music, fishing, traveling, and spending time with his family and friends. He was a volunteer with Tri-State Collie Rescue, a member of Newark Teheran Grotto, Newark Druids, Heath Eagles and Heath Masonic Lodge.

He is survived by his wife, Connie S. (Brown) Luckeydoo; stepchildren, Rob (Beth) Platte of Pataskala and Amy (Steve) Wagner of Johnstown; stepgreat grandchildren, Andy Ward and Hanna Wagner; brother, Carl (Terri Brown) Luckeydoo of Pickerington; sister, Shirley (Sonny) Hindman of Newark; a host of nieces and nephews; and his four beloved rescue collies.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Donald Luckydoo; and former wife, Roberta Jane Luckeydoo.
